PICU Amenities

Bathrooms

There are 3 toilets for PICU families and their visitors to use. There is a single toilet in the PICU for families and their visitors to use and it is located down the corridor opposite the balcony. There are 2 toilets with baby change tables available for families to utilise and are located next to the family area outside the PICU entrance.

  • If your child is admitted to an isolation room that has an ensuite, you are more than welcome to use the bathroom.
  • There is a patient bathroom within the PICU that is designated for patients, please do not use this bathroom.
  • There are also multiple bathrooms on each level of the hospital, please speak to staff for directions.

Showers

There are 2 shower facilities located on 3A Forrest for PICU families to use. Please ask your child’s nurse for directions. Towels are provided.
